The Man with no Face

If I shall never see your face,
I will be lost in time and space.
Impossible for me to use
All of my mournings for the muse.

And petrified, my eyes despair
Of wordless stories from nowhere,
But knees know how to beg unfold,
In wordless stories left untold.

So, faceless as you are to me,
I feel more in my sanity;
Closing my eyes, with knees unfold,
I beg for stories left untold.

No fasting may prevail the sin;
The time and space lost in between
Can stretch upon my lips in pray,
Like a disease of Dory Gray.

If I shall never see your face,
How easy I would die in grace!
But faceless as you are to me,
Your love will heal my sanity.
